Description
Mexican Maskmaker, [20th Century]. "Mexican Mask [Traditional - 0086]. Manuel Mask. From the Dance of the Manueles, Mochitlan, State of Guerro [Mexico]". Hand-painted, hand-carved polychromed natural wood sculpture. 1980. A "danced" mask. Not made for the tourist trade or for sale, but created by the indigenous person to be used only in a ceremonial dance. Overall condition good.
