5th-6th century AD. A miniature radiate-headed brooch with D-shaped headplate bearing addorsed scroll decoration, surrounded by three collared knops; the border cast thick with punched triangle decoration; the bow with central rib and outer ribs continuing the ridge and punched design extending to the outer border of the triangular footplate with a beast-head finial; to the reverse, pin-lug and catchplate.
