Two court documents prepared by David Berkowitz (Son of Sam killer) and signed (7 times with notarizations) on July 3, 1980. Documents were prepared for the Supreme court of the State of New York and name David as Plaintiff and naming MCGraw Hill Book Compay, Harold McGraw, Jr., Bruce Lee and Lawrence D. Klausner as defendants. The suit seeks $10,000,000.00 in damages based on the impending publishing of Klausners book "Son of Sam". Allegations of slander, exaggeration and defamation of Berkowitz.. Part I lays out the case and part II includes exhibits and also includes a copy of a Feb. 1980 letter Berkowitz sent to then Gov. Hugh Carey. Part I contains Berkowitz's signature on 7 documents that are notarized. Part II has some hand notations in his hand but no signatures. Accompanying the documents is a hand written note to Dee Channel dated July 3, 1980 through whom the documents were acquired. The note reads "This should go out on July 7th. Please let me know when it arrives and if it arrives untampered. I did my best but give it an honest opinion. keep it a secret. Love David 2 ENCL". the documents are in the original plastic sleeves and are in very good condition.
