c. 1700-1770, Rifleman's Belt Axe, possibly use in the Revolutionary War, Very Fine.
Overall length is approximately 19” with the blade being about 5” long and about 2.5” wide at the tip. This piece was possibly used in the Revolutionary War and is similar to pieces described in “Swords & Blades of the American Revolution.” by George C. Neumann, Rebel Publishing Company, Texarkana, Texas. 1991. p. 258.
