557. Walter Plunkett (8) original costume sketches from Cimarron. (MGM, 1960) Original (8) Walter Plunkett costume sketches accomplished in pencil and gouache on 15 x 20 in. artist boards. Including: (1) Anne Baxter, (1) Estelle Taylor, (2) Irene Dunne, (2) Maria Schell in detailed variety of period dresses and (1) Glenn Ford with rifle and (1) Richard Dix with six-shooter – each in period Western wear from Cimarron. Plunkett has signed the sketches in watercolor brush in lower right corner of board. Plunkett created this sketch for exhibit (ca. 1970s). In fine condition.
