This original Hand-stitched Sampler was worked by, "1793 - Sitea Van Duyne - Born October the - 29th the year 1777", with added alphabet above and being unfinished below, measuring 11.25” x 9” and nice professionally mounted and framed in a modern wooden frame to 15” x 12” overall and is ready for hanging on display. An excellent quality, somewhat simple sampler, made by a young 16 year old girl, who was born in 1777 during the American Revolutionary War.
