Description
Georgia Currency
Superior In Quality To The Newman Plate Note
Georgia. 1777 No Resolution Date. Three Dollars. Typeset. Choice About Uncirculated.
Fr. GA-85. This bright, highly colorful smaller size note is bold and vivid in appearance. The red and black text and designs are printed sharp and the five signatures and serial number display nicely upon the fresh, clean laid period paper. The blank reverse side is free of notations, while the four corners show faint traces of a prior mounting with one faint vertical centerfold from being CU. It has four full, very even margins which provides for excellent overall centering. This note is much sharper and better centered than the 5th Edition Newman plate note of this denomination, as illustrated on page 147.
