Magna-Grecia, Ca 4th century BCE. Finely sculpted head of a female goddess, once part of a full figure. Her hair is pulled back and tied in a bun, original pigment still seen in several areas. Custom stand. 1.50"W x 1.13"H (3.81 W x 2.86 H cm)
Provenance: Ex-Collection of William Dale. Mr. Dale was a career diplomat stationed in Turkey in the early 1960's and acquired a vast collection of Greek, Roman and Near-Eastern treasures.
