Description
Fine Japanese porcelain. Hand Painted Iron Red and Gold over white background. Blooming flowers and birds in a characteristic manner. Excellent piece of Kutani. Wire handle with insulation, very finely done. Original lid. Signed on the bottom of the spout, in gold. Unglazed bottom. Japanese in origin. Meiji period, circa late 19th/early 20th century. Measurements: 8" high with handle, 8.75"high with lid, 6" diameter with spout, 5" body diameter

Very good overall; Superb display. All original. Very slight rubbing from age. Minor issues on the wire-insulated handle
