The Etruscan bronze worshiper dates back to the 7th century BC. The highly abstracted figure wears a feet long dress and has stretched out the hands to the sides. The face shows stereotypical facial features, and the dress and the hands are fitted with a notch decor. In early cultures, worshipers referred to as praying or revering figures and are usually characterized by outstretched arms.
The figure is in a good condition, showing a typical patina of age and a small hole to the legs. The height is 7.5 cm. The figure comes with a modern acrylic glass base. (cko)
