This is a collection of 402 glasses from the Palace of the Republic from Berlin in the GDR. It is made by the VEB Kombinat Lausitzer Glas. The glasses are adorned with the monogram ‘PdR’ in black. The Palace of the Republic was opened in 1976 and it had several restaurants, cafés and bars with their own dishes.
The collection contains:
275 wine glasses, 5cl
23 water glasses, 0,1l
16 Cognac glasses, 10 cm
10 Sherry glasses, 10 cm
3 glasses, 0,25l
The condition of the collection of glasses is allover good with slight traces of wear. Partly soiled. (tm)
