Description
TRIPLE FLUTE KEROSENE STAND LAMP, colorless, dome-top font, hexagonal stem and foot, wafer construction, No. 3 fine-line collar. Fitted with a period set-up comprising a W. M. Carleton No. 3 lip burner, thumbwheel marked "MANF'D BY WM CARLETON, with unmarked Merrill's air director, and a colorless lip chimney. Third quarter 19th century. 10 3/4" H to top of collar, 4 7/8" D base.

Condition
Excellent condition, font undamaged, top of stem with a shallow loss to one panel edge, possibly as made. Burner undamaged, chimney fitter with two flakes and normal roughness.
