A huge variety of excellent subjects all from the late Twenties to the early Thirties includes five photos of Charles Lindbergh aboard the aircraft carrier USS Saratoga (CV-3) on 8 February 1929 where he was invited to fly the new Boeing F3B-1 multiple additional images of the Saratoga at sea at dock and in drydock dozens of other navy vessels from battleships and cruisers that would be destroyed or damaged at Pearl Harbor to small launches American submarines naval maneuvers with vessels laying down smoke earthquake damage probably in the Philippines Guantanamo Bay the naval base at Bremerton Wa. funeral services for 52 killed in a turret explosion parades leave in Hawaii Washington San Pedro and elsewhere natives Equator-crossing ceremonies and much much more. Most photos are contained within an album with gilt title: ""U.S.S. TRENTON"" about one hundred are loose. Also present is a Navy hat tassel from the USS Lexington sister ship of the Saratoga and scuttled after Midway. An important collection of Navy photographs.
