This pair of chairs is fashioned in the manner of the 17th century. The solid frame is turned and the baluster legs are connected by stretchers. The embroidered backrests both feature a scrolled reserve with a figural motif from classical antiquity, while the seats depict an illustration of birds in trees.



Condition:

The chairs are in good condition with signs of wear consistent with age. There is wooden worm damage (inactive) and corresponding small losses of material to the frames. The dimensions are 108 x 54 x 49 cm, the seat height measures 47 cm. (tfa)
