A resonant selection, dating from 1917 to 1933, of Stieglitz's images of his young wife, making his point that a true portrait comprised not one photograph but a series that shows many aspects of the subject. In addition to O'Keeffe's face, he captured her paintings, her automobile, and her neck, hands, and torso. They are richly reproduced by the Meriden Gravure Company, along with O'Keeffeâ's commentary printed in letterpress, making for a splendid production. Fine condition, in shrink wrap.
