Description
Two early 20th century 15ct gold brooches and a loose diamond. To include a turquoise cabochon wishbone brooch, a cushion-shape ruby and split pearl scroll brooch, together with a rectangular-cut diamond weighing 0.31cts. Estimated diamond I-J colour P1-P2 clarity. Scroll brooch with hallmarks for Chester, 1897. Lengths 4 to 3.8cms. Total weight 5.1gms.
Condition
Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. The diamond appears bright and lively. Significant fractures are visible throughout the diamond. Some are surface reaching. Turquoise well matched. Ruby has even colour saturation. Damage to nacre of some split pearls. Stones in good condition with minor abrasions. Wishbone brooch stamped 15ct.
