Lot of two police clubs. Both made of single pieces of turned hard wood (possibly oak). The longer one is painted black over a lightly toned wood body. Grooved handle. Pierced for a lather or fabric strap. Marked US on the tip of the handle. The shorter club has a dark brown finish. American, circa late 1800's/early 1900's. Measurements: The longer one is 22" (56 cm) long, 1.2" (widest diameter. The shorter one is 14.5" long (37 mm)

Spots of missing paint from extensive use on the longer one
