19th century, the rectangular padded back and seat covered in pale green velvet and floral patterned striped silk, above a waved scroll carved seatrail, on cabriole legs ending in scroll toes, decorated overall with floral sprays, 38.25 H x 26.5 W x 22 D, est:$1500/2500. Provenance: Property from the Mercedes Alexander Trust

Condition

Structurally sound. General marks, nicks, scratches and wear overall. Painted decoration rubbed and with losses, as visible in photo, most notably to rear legs. Some chipped losses to carved elements, particularly at extremities like hand holds and feet Some separation to joints overall. With some cracking to rear legs - does not affect stability. With typical wear to upholstery.
