Near East, Northwestern Iran, Luristan, ca. 1200 to 1000 BCE. A beautiful bronze cuff bracelet with an intricate incised design adorning the surface. Breathtaking green patina! Two old perforations at termini for fastening. A wonderful example from the respected collection of John Piscopo, a knowledgeable expert with a keen eye. Size: 7" x 1-7/8” at widest (17.8 x 4.8 cm) with 2"W (5.1 cm) opening.
Provenance: Ex-Estate of John Piscopo. Mr. Piscopo was one of the largest collectors of ancient weapons in the US with a collection that spanned all cultures, all ages.
