Lithograph titled "Your Plan and Mine", contrasting the democratic and republican plans for the prosecution of the war. McClellan offers an olive branch to Jeff Davis, gives him permission to return the black Union soldier into slavery and requests the South's return to the Union. Lincoln, in contrast, demands unconditional surrender from Davis at the point of the bayonet and demands that those freed by the Emancipation Proclamation are not returned to slavery [Sheet: 13-1/2" H x 18" W]. Bears O. Rundle Gilbert Auctioneer tag. Left edge on verso bears paper tape reinforcing strip. Bears embossed blind stamp at upper right corner "Parsons & Co.
