Description
Greece, Magna Graecia, southern Italy, Apulia, ca. 340 to 325 BCE. A Greek Red-Figure plate featuring a "Lady of Fashion" wearing a headdress with hair pins, earring and a pearl necklace, she is bordered by concentric bands and encircled by a laurel wreath; tongues around the edge of the rim. Nice iridescent surface. A large and fine example! Size: 9.5" W x 2" H (24.1 cm x 5.1 cm)
