Description
Greece, Athens, ca. 4th century BCE. An Attic red-figure guttos of a characteristically squat rounded form with a side spout, central strainer, and raised ring side handle. The surface is decorated with a leaf and berry band around the waist beneath two rows of tongue or petal form meanders. A beautiful example of this unusual form of Attic pottery. Size: 5" W x 2.75" H (12.7 cm x 7 cm)
