A Russian Painted Wood Icon of St. Nicholas. Together with a Russian icon of the Virgin Mary and Jesus under an .84 Russian silver and enamel oklad (12" x 10.5") St. Nicholas: 20" x 16"

Both pieces date to the 20th century. The larger, unframed piece is painted on plywood. There are some cracks to the gold background as well as a few nicks to the edges. The smaller piece is in fine condition and is covered in blue cloth on its back. It measures 12" x 10.25"
