Pale bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate, inset cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, painted lashes, feathered and brushstroked brows, pierced ears, plump lower cheeks, closed mouth, shaded and accented lips, original blonde mohair wig over cork pate, kid body with gusset jointing, bisque forearms, wears lace-over blue silk two-piece gown, silk bonnet, antique stockings and dark leather boots. Commentary: Very fine and pale bisque of highest quality, lovely facial painting, early Bru kid body with a few kid repairs, beautiful bisque hands, circa 1870’s. Estimate: $3000/6000.
