Two Dutch Silver Goblets with Associated Neresheimer & Söhne German Silver Figural Bell, late 19th century
Marks to goblets: (Minerva), (lion rampant-1), (930/1000), (Hollandse Leeuw), (maker's mark)
Marks to bell: (lion rampant), (n), (pineapple), (BI)
5-3/4 inches high (14.6 cm) (tallest, goblet)
10.3 troy ounces
The lot comprising a near pair of Dutch goblets, each with everted floriform rim, beaded collar to neck, country scenery framed in scrollwork, spherical lower section, raised on three scrolled legs; a Neresheimer & Söhne German Silver bell surmounted by a sculptural finial of Mercury modeled after Giambologna, body acid etched with ships, with chased foliate trim to rim.
Note: Goblets bear Victorian importation marks into London, circa 1887; bell bears British importation marks into Chester after 1904.

Some warping and cracking to floriform rim, visible seam marks to goblets, light nicking, with surface scratches commensurate with age, polishing, and use.
