Item Details

Description

Cold painted bronze figures of dogs. Used as place-card holders. Comes in fitted wood, leather, velvet and silk case from Brook & Son, Goldsmiths to the King, 87 George Street, Edinburgh. Brook & Son operated from 1891 to about 1940. Dogs are mounted to alabaster discs with nickeled bronze bases. Dogs are probably by Bergmann. Dimensions are: largest dog is 1 11/16" tall, case is 6 11/16" long. All measurements are approximate.
