Very fine Chinese Zisha Tea pot, potted in tappered celestial form, with round shoulder supporting the domed lid and simply bud finial, raised upon flat base. Flanked with curved spout and looped handle, covered overall in orange-brown underglazed body with attractive dark-brown speckles, Iron brown spots Tiexiuban, caused by kiln grit melting into the glaze and appears in some kind of pattern. The lid fitted perfectly unto gallery mouth without any gap. Incised makers seal marks on reverse lid and underbase.
