Very fine Chinese Zisha Tea pot, potted in organic ovoid lobed form, supported the domed lid with simply bud finial, raised upon flat base. Flanked with curved spout and looped handle. This purple clay teapot is characterized by organic motif simulated the plum shape. Covered overall in reddish-brown underglaze. The lid fitted perfectly unto gallery mouth without any gap. Incised maker's hallmarks on reverse lid, handle, and underbase.
