Pre-Columbian, West Mexican, 300 BCE to 300 CE. This is a pair of two red slip painted pottery ollas from the West Mexican shaft tomb tradition. Size of largest: 7-1/2" H x 5-1/2" diameter (19 cm x 14 cm).
Provenance: Ex-private Olan collection, California, by family descent, acquired 1960 to 1970.

Condition
There is wear to the paint and a chip to the rim of the smaller of the ollas, but the artwork remains clear and they are a complimentary pair.
