Description
Gilt bronze seated Tara figure from the 18th century. The Buddhist goddess and Bodhisattva Tara is depicted seated in a double lotus pose. This figure has seven eyes, including the third eye and eyes on each of her hands and feet. She is surrounded by flowers and wears a crown and jewels. Most of the paint is worn.
Dimensions are 6 1/2 inches tall X 3 3/4 inches wide. All measurements are approximate.

Condition
It is in overall good condition with age wear, especially to the paint. One of her fingers looks to have been repaired.
