An interesting letter sent to the Rebbe Rabbi Yoel of Satmar in the USA. With many signatures of the leaders of the Hassidic community of Petach Tikvah, headed by the Rebbe of Zidichov, Rabbi Menashe Yitzchak Meir Eichenstein.
At the end of the letter, stamps of the Batei Midrash of Petach Tikvah: 'Divrei Chaim' of Sanz; 'Chug Chatam Sofer - Petach Tikvah" and the Beit Midrash of the Rebbe of Zidichov. Petach Tikvah, Adar 1955.
The letter describes the difficulties of the Hassidic community of the town whose rabbis, heads of yeshivas and leaders were all Mitnagdim. It also contains a request from the rabbi to give up the position of his disciple Rabbi Lipa Shochet and Bodek, who was the manager of the Talmud Torah of Satmar in Jerusalem, so that he could move to Petach Tikvah.
