Pre-Columbian, Colombia to Ecuador (Carchi), Narino Highlands, ca. 1250 CE. A deep polychrome terracotta bowl on a concave footed base, with beautifully decorated abstract geometric, linear, and stylized primate designs via negative resist in red, cream, and chocolate brown hues. Size: 8.125" W x 3.875" H (20.6 cm x 9.8 cm).
