Description
Pre-Columbian, Costa Rica, ca. 800 to 1200 CE. An attractive polychrome tripod bowl decorated on the interior with concentric bands of curvilinear motifs painted in black on cream slip against a red ground. The rattle legs are unusually spherical in form and make a fabulous percussive sound. Size: 5.75" in diameter x 3.5" H (14.6 cm x 8.9 cm)
