A Lovely Ming Dynasty Chinese tea bowl. A very old example and was by all appearances unearthed. The imperial porcelain factory was established at Jingdezhen at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), and from this time the position of Jingdezhen as the center of porcelain production became consolidated. In addition to these decorative innovations, the Ming period exported porcelain around the world on an unprecedented scale, especially when blue-and-white wares grew in popularity. measures 3 x 5.5 inches.
