This lot consists of a Hand Drawn Pen and Ink composition on antique grid paper, done in the Abstract style of Modern Expressionist artist Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). Hand Signed "Picasso" at top right, and dated "17 May 1937". Image depicts a majestic horse, rearing upward into the picture, surrounded by furious lines and masterful attention to natural form. Image is similar to the studies for Guernica. Piece measures approximately 5.75" x 8".
