This lot consists of a Hand Drawn ink illustration on paper, hand Signed "Picasso" and dated "le 31 Juillet 1953", with the location of "Vallauris" (a town on the southern coast of France, between Cannes and Nice, where Picasso had a studio for years). Image depicts the suspended head of a minotaur-like character, with a voluminous goatee, curls adorning his head, and two curved horns protruding from above his eyes. Done in the modernist style of Cubist Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973). Piece measures approximately 6.75" x 8.75".
