Description
Floating bar circa 1885 purchase from the estate of late John P Cushing of Essex Connecticut. According to family records Mr. Cushing commissioned wood carver CS barley corn (impressed in the rear of the bar) to carve the floating bar for use by himself and his guests when they summered and with him at his private lake in western New Hampshire. Measures 31.5 inches tall by 17 inches wide by 2.75 inches deep
