Very Scarce New York Water-Works Note of August 1774
August 25, 1774, 2s, New York Water-Works, PCGS graded Choice About New-55.
This first issue of the Water-Works series is printed in red and black on the face with a black reverse. Overall, this note is on very crisp heavy laminated paper, is well centered with four full margins. There is even light circulation with some faint traces of old collector mounting on the reverse, as noted on the holder. A very scarce note both for its low denomination and first issue status.
