PENNSYLVANIA TRIPLE IRISH CHAIN PIECED AND APPLIQUE QUILT, hand-stitched, 28 repeated plain blocks with double-channeled quilting, triple border with wave quilting, back-over-front binding, three-paneled backing. Stitched "L. Fauth. / Sep. 1861." in corner block. Circa 1861. 88" x 99".
Very good overall condition, top with several areas of light staining, scattered light spotting, scattered small holes on fabric primarily on border, and small tears on two red fabric blocks, backing with numerous stains and spots.
