GA-4 VARIANT GOTHIC ARCH AND HEART PRESSED OPEN SALT, mottled opalescent to opaque medium blue, even-scallop rim, raised on bucket-like feet. Variant with base like GA-4a. Rare. Possibly Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1835-1845. 1 3/4" H, 2" x 2 3/4".
Excellent condition, rim with several top and outer-edge flakes, and to two corners, base with two flakes to underside, light mold roughness to corners of body.

Provenance: Collection of the late Alvina Breckel of Oley, PA and Winnetka, IL.
