A Roman gray marble head of a woman, c. 2nd - 3rd Century BC, her hairs stylized back into a coiled plait at the back of her head. The features are well-detailed and the marble nicely polished and with a bluish-grey color. 2 3/8 x 2 5/8 x 2 3/4 in (6.1 x 6.7 x 7 cm). Mineral deposits within the recesses.
