This lot consists of a hand painted mixed media (acrylic and watercolor) painting on paper, hand signed "Cy Twombly" at lower right. A single red flower with a long, green stem appears to be pressed to the page, with a grey wash splashed across the blackground. It is done in the Expressionist style of the great modern artist, Cy Twombly (American, 1928-2011). Unframed work measures approximately 13" x 9.5".
