Description
Ca. 100 to 300 A.D., manufactured during the period of Roman occupation of the Holy Land. Buff terracotta lamp with small thumb-rest, thin at base and widening to spout where 5 wick holes are placed in nearly straight line. Sides of lamp once decorated with floral design, now faded with age. 4-1/2"L x 3-1/2"W.
