This excellent Revolutionary War map documents troop positions of the British (in Red) and American (in Blue) forces in 1776-77. The map shows the American position, led by General Washington, at Trenton on December 26, after crossing the Delaware River up river for the first time. Much detail is offered as to topography, rivers, falls, ferries, roads, settlements, etc. From the Atlas to Marshall's Life of Washington, published by J Crissy. This is a museum discard copy.
