BENJAMIN WEST (1738-1820). Anglo-American History Painter around and after the time of the American War of Independence and the Seven Years' War. He was the second president of the Royal Academy in London, serving from 1792 to 1805 and 1806 to 1820.
Superb quality Personal Visiting or Calling Card Signed, "Mr. West - 14 Newman Street," no date, measuring 1.5" x 3," Choice Crisp Near Mint. It is written upon an attractive, clean crisp card stock that has a trace of prior mounting on its blank reverse. The bold brown signature is superb.
