Description
Original 1933 photo card, signed by Hermann Göring to an admirer (or just a collector of signatures) in Switzerland, sent together with a letter on his official stationary and signed by his secretary. A Swiss gentleman Walter Burri must have written to the President of the Reichstag, Hermann Göring in 1933. In fact, he must have enclosed the picture with his request letter because it does not look like an official photo from the Hoffmann studios. His secretary, a Frau Grundtmann, sent it back to Mr. Burri and enclosed a letter, using Göring’s Reichstags President stationary. The return envelope bears the seal of the Reichstag President (see below).
