**First Time At Auction**
North America, United States, ca. 1926 CE. A mold-cast brass coin bank in the shape of the famous Liberty Bell to celebrate the Bicentennial anniversary of the United States of America. The broad bell features a raised statement along the upper periphery that matches the words on the full-size bell as well as an imitation of the famous fissure stemming from the flared lower rim. The bell is suspended from a 'wooden' iron yoke that is suspended from a pair of forked legs. A thin slit atop the bell body enables coins to be inserted for safe-keeping. The bottom of the plaque reads, "Souvenir The Sesqui-Centennial International Exposition 1776 Philadelphia 1926 150 Years of American Independence." Beneath the bell reads, "MFG. BY QUAKER LIGHT FIX MFG CO., PHILA, PA." Size: 7" W x 7" H (17.8 cm x 17.8 cm)

Condition
Loosening to bell tenons within yoke holes, minor abrasions, and light encrustations, otherwise intact and very good. Nice patina across bell and yokes.
