PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA DECORATED STONEWARE BUTTER / CAKE CROCK WITH COVER, Bristol-slip glazed, low conical form with arched handles and band of three incised rings below the squared rim, fitted with an appropriate cover. Brushed cobalt dropped flower and leaf decoration to both sides, additional cobalt swag below each handle. Attributed to Thomas Haig Jr., Philadelphia. Circa 1875. 5 1/2" HOA, 9" DOA.
Undamaged except for a very minor, short hairline to cover.
