Description
PENNSYLVANIA POLYCHROME-DECORATED EARTHENWARE / REDWARE FLOWER POT, lead-, copper-, and manganese-glaze over a slip wash, squat conical form with coggled rim, punched drain hole, and integral saucer. Probably the George Wagner Pottery, Carbon Co., PA. Circa 1860. 5 5/8" H, 7 3/8" D rim.
Very good as-found condition, rim with a moderate chip to underside and scattered small chips/wear, two chips to saucer rim, and manufacturing spall to underside.
