Asian Hozan Satzuma Charger Meiji Era. The charger is signed and an exceptional Hozan Satsuma exquisitely painted charger. The charger is decorated with chrysanthemum and an iris floral boarder surrounding a delicately painted scene of men and women on a bridge by a tea house outside a temple entrance with wisteria blossoms. The work dates from the late 19th century. Matsumoto Hozan. (1868-1925) The work measures approx Measures 14" x 14" x 1 7/8"H.
